The Golden Rules of Healthy Gaming
Play for entertainment: Never think of gaming as a source of income. It is purely a form of entertainment.
Set an affordable budget: Only play with money that, if lost, will not affect your daily life.
Take regular breaks: Take at least a 10-minute break every hour. Get up, drink some water, and spend time with family.
Do not play on impulse: Avoid gaming when you are angry, upset, or under the influence of alcohol.
Do not chase losses: Trying to win back losses by playing more is the most harmful habit.
Stick to your time limit: Decide in advance how long you will play and make sure you stop when that time comes.
Keep your family informed: Be open with your family about your gaming habits. This ensures accountability.
